Description

Proudly Made in the USA

The Axiom S2 is the evolution of the core principles that have made the Triple Aught Design Axiom platform so effective across diverse urban mission profiles. The S2 reflects the discreet, configurable, and secure foundations of the award-winning Axiom 24 in a streamlined package for new adventures.

Built around a paradigm of top-down usage, Axiom organizes your gear and provides exceptional access even in constrained environments such as airplane and car seats. Conceived as a flexible carry system for daily adventures and key companion for journeys abroad, Axiom adapts to your changing needs and seamlessly manages chaos.

The limited edition Jack Carr Edition features cross hawk branded leather zipper pulls and an embroidered cross hawk logo on the front of the bag.

Built-in Organization: The spacious main compartment features a single full-height vertical pocket and two gusseted half-height pockets to compartmentalize critical gear for immediate access in constrained spaces such as car and airplane seats.

Configurable Storage: The main compartment includes two columns of Helix attachment points at the top and bottom the back panel and the top of the front panel for use with a wide range of organizing accessories, including Control Panels, Transport Sleeves, or our Compression Strap Kit to secure bulky loads. Inspired by the intermodal container system, the Helix (HX) attachment system provides a lightweight, modular solution for configuring storage platforms. Helix supports standardized, interconnecting modules which can be configured as fixed or railed storage, a multitude of compression and attachment options, and paneled storage configurations.

Rapid Identification: The Axiom S2 features carefully considered zipper pulls and plugs so the desired compartment can be identified easily, even in low light situations. The factory plugs and pulls can be easily removed for user preferred customization. Immediate Access Weatherproof zippers on each side panel provide immediate access.

Left side panel: A padded and suspended compartment protects flat equipment such as tablets and laptops up to 16in Main compartment access without fully removing bag
Right side panel: A long, vertical pocket bellows into the main compartment and is pleated to contain larger cylindrical items such as water bottles or spare layers. A drainage port at the bottom of the pocket prevents minor spills from becoming major
headaches.

Secure Admin: A generous front admin pocket offers multiple storage options, including:
- Integrated admin panel, keeping everyday carry items organized and accessible.
- Full-height vertical pocket at the front of the pack, capable of storing a light shell, a book or tablet, or umbrella.
- Secure pocket with zippered access and D-ring to clip keys or dummycord gear

Accessory Pocket: A zippered accessory pocket on the top of the pack provides convenient access to frequently used items, such as sunglasses or snacks.

Hidden Ally: A flat, centered welt pocket conceals 3 rows of single-column 1in webbing, compatible with small accessories such as bike lights or carabiners.

Comfort in Motion: The back panel features channeled closed cell cross-linked polyethylene foam, providing exceptional padding and continuous airflow for all day comfort. Load Management Wide and generously padded shoulder straps feature durable spacer mesh, an adjustable chest strap, and functional load lifters for exceptional fit and load transference. Drainage Water bottle pocket is ported to allow loose debris or liquid to drain without
impacting other compartments within the Axiom 24 Pack.

Resilient: The Axiom S2 WX is built from TexWax™, a strong, durable cotton based fabric that is treated with generations-old formulations of various grades and qualities of waxes. These waxes impart flexibility at cold temperatures, water repellency, non-transferability, and a high melt point.

About The Collab

In the military, we talk about being mission capable—ready to execute at a moment’s notice, no matter the situation. That’s the mindset Triple Aught Design brings to their gear. For over two decades they’ve been crafting purpose-built products with the precision and reliability needed for life’s most demanding adventures.

Triple Aught Design operates on a principle I hold close: anything worth doing is worth doing right. From their headquarters in San Francisco’s historic Dogpatch district, they design and manufacture gear that meets the highest standards. They’re not just creating exceptional gear—they’re supporting American jobs, suppliers, and the industries that keep our nation strong. Every detail, down to the last stitch of Ripstop fabric or piece of webbing, is engineered for performance and durability.

What sets TAD apart is their commitment to small-batch production. Their process ensures every piece they make is special, built for those who refuse to settle for average. It’s gear for the capable individual—whether you’re deep in the backcountry, on a range, or navigating the challenges of everyday life.

I’ve learned that the right gear can mean the difference between success and failure. With TAD, you’re not just buying a product; you’re equipping yourself for the mission at hand, whatever that may be.

Specifications

TexWax™ is an authentic American heritage cloth, brought forward for todays rugged and sustainable applications. Woven from a blend of 15% CORDURA® and 85% Cotton, this 12 ounce canvas duck has a finish weight (after waxing) of 16.6 ounces. Due to waxing, shades will vary greater than standard cotton dyed non wax fabrics. The unique character of TexWax™ is to have craze or crack marks when handled. To remove craze marks from fabric, use a medium hot iron over brown paper.
